. Lot of 9 pieces; including 4 mugs, 4 cordial glasses and an ashtray. Each piece is adorned with a woman, with the exception of two mugs all of who are in the nude, but portrayed discretely. Mugs have two women in green gowns, one of which is reclining and the other who is undressing, both forming handles. Other tow mugs have nude women, one diving into mug and other hanging off of mug. Mug with woman diving in has a piece broken off where woman dives in which has a neat glue repair. Cordial glasses have same image a woman at base to glass. Ashtray is a bowl style with a reclining nude on lip. Pieces are all glazed ceramic and made in Japan circa 1940’s – 1950’s. Pieces have overall crazing as is typical with glazed ceramics of this type. An interesting collection. VF.
