Item Description
1.25". Colorful and detailed graphic of farmer and laborer behind black and white oval portraits with names below each "Eugene V. Debs/Ben. Hanford." "1904" appears between them. Above and below illustrations reads "Socialist Candidates." To right of laborer is multi-story factory with smoke coming from chimney. Laborer wears no shirt. On the left side, farmer wears blue shirt and hat. To his left is scene "locomotive with smoke from chimney and ship out to sea. Tanned W&H backpaper. 1/8" cello split at top curl. Light oxidation on back rim. Even tanning around edge. Blends well with clouds, smoke from chimney, grass. Candidates' portraits and names remain unaffected. Surface scuffs diagonal at center is visible in reflected light. VF.
