Item Description
The character is possibly the most popular and consistent war-time hero of comics. His squadron was one of the most interesting teams of the Golden Age. Blackhawk, both as a team and a character, have had a terrific run. Last year they were even featured in an episode of the Cartoon Network’s Justice League show. This issue is actually the first solo title Blackhawk issue. Up until issue #9 the book was Uncle Sam Quarterly. The pages are off-white to white. According to the CGC Census, this is the second highest graded copy they have seen. This copy is recognized as belonging to the Mile High Pedigree.
