Fiction House was direct and very straightforward when it came to naming their books. They wanted the reader to know exactly what was inside. Their covers often featured some of the most exciting combat art on the newsstands, especially this title. Wings had a great run, lasting until 1954. The cover, by Gene Fawcette, features paratroopers and also a Nazi or two. The pages are cream to off-white. According to the CGC Census, this copy is the third highest graded copy they have seen.
