Item Description
14x20" stiff paper poster for Sept. 16-17, 1966 concerts at Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA featuring The Grateful Dead and Oxford Circle. Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley features the now iconic Grateful Dead image of a skeleton w/roses on its head in a rose garden as originally drawn by Joseph Sullivan. This is a third printing done shortly after the original printings, later reprints were also done. All vintage printings of this poster are very popular w/first printings valued at over $5,000. Poster has even, all over fade; more noticeable to red areas. Poster is o/w clean and Fine overall.
