Item Description
This 1.75" button has numerous all over hairline surface scratches but they are light and are evident only in reflected light. The button has gorgeous color and features a pair of horses with cropped tails. Text at top reads "Largest Importers Of Percheron, Belgian, German Coach, Shire & Hackney Stallions & Mares." Button has its Bastian paper although with some dust soil and seven inked letters or numbers. This is the earliest and most beautiful button we know of related to horses. We've seen only about four examples in 49 years.
