Item Description
9.75x11.75" facsimile leather-covered three-ring binder contains complete script for Oct. 26, 1975 show that co-starred The Smothers Brothers. The "Cher" variety show premiered on CBS Feb. 16, 1975 and ran  until Jan. 4, 1976. Cher had previously starred in "The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour" w/then-husband Sonny Bono before the pair divorced. Both Sonny and Cher would receive their own short-lived show. After "Cher" ended, they reunited for "The Sonny & Cher Show." Cover of binder features "Cher" show logo and "Tom Smothers" name at bottom right. Cover has been signed in blue ink "Best Wishes From One Of The Smothers Brothers," adding his signature below printed name (indicating this script as his personal copy) at bottom right. Inside front cover has been signed the same way by Smothers in black felt tip pen. Cover shows some lt. wear and scattered dust soiling, which affects some of Smothers' inscription. Fine overall. Inside front cover has three spots of oxidation (as does inside back cover) from metal rings, but second inscription/signature remains Exc. Script pages have some aging and lt. handling but are VF/Exc. Uniquely double-signed item. Comes with Hake's COA and PSA/DNA COA.
