The 1985 Canada Maple Leaf 1oz Gold Coin was struck by the Royal Canadian Mint in the year 1985 and belongs to the Maple Leaf series of gold bullion coins. Each .9999 fine gold coin contains 1 troy ounce (31.1035 grams) of gold and is legal tender with a face value of $50.
While the one ounce coins are generally the most popular among bullion investors, the Canadian 1985 Maple Leaf Gold coin also comes in fractional ounce sizes of 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz.
