Item Description
22x28-3/8" thin cardboard poster for Sept. 27, 1955 concert that took place at the Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga, TN featuring Faye Adams, The Clovers, Bo Diddley, Big Joe Turner, Bill Doggett, The Charms, Charlie and Ray, the Paul Williams Big Band, The Five Keys, Etta James and The Peaches, Al Jackson and Gene & Eunice. Boxing style poster and all are featured w/photos w/exception of Diddley, Charlie and Ray, The Five Keys, James, Jackson and Gene & Eunice. A number of songs are listed. It should be noted that this concert took place one year after Etta James started her long career. Top margin has been neatly trimmed, though this does not remove any text or images. Margins have aged and poster has some scattered dust soiling along left. Still displays Fine/VF. Great early Diddley and James show poster.
