Item Description
Lot of five c. 1910 tin litho die-cut pieces. Lot includes four promoting "De Laval Cream Separators." First is 5" long Brown Swiss cow w/"De Laval Cream Separators - The World's Standard" text. Reverse features image of separator w/advertising text. Front shows some scattered wear w/two hairline scratches to cow's head and some color loss at her shoulder. Fine overall. Lot also includes three 2.5" long calves (each of different dairy breed), two w/"De Laval - Skim Milk For Me" text. Backs also feature text promoting skim milk as dairy feed. Scattered wear w/some bends to thin legs as designed to stand for display. Fine overall. All were made by American Art Sign Co. Comes w/2.25x3" double-sided pot scraper promoting "Sharples Tubular Cream Separator" w/image of milkmaid on front and image of the machine itself on reverse w/promotional text. Reverse has moderate scattered surface oxidation but front remains nice for display. VG/Fine.
