Item Description
31.5" long guitar made in England by Selcol, 1957. Four-string guitar is made of "Styron" (a high impact plastic). Side and back body color is a marbled dark purple. Facsimile "Elvis Presley" signature on face of guitar in raised script. Originally painted w/silver luster, majority of this is now missing. Guitar has only three of the four strings (missing string is easily replaced). Head w/tuning keys (all four Selcol "S" keys are present) has 1.75" dia. paper portrait of Elvis in silver plastic ring; most of silver luster remains. Original braided cord strap present. Selcol label inside guitar body present though aged. Scattered lt. wear and fretboard has 1.25" hairline crack but still Fine/VF overall. Michael J. Stern Collection.
