5.25" dia. by 13/16" deep saucer. Made in England, early 1930s. Saucer features wonderful scene of Mickey Mouse playing piano in jungle as tiger cub sits on top of piano. Both are shocked by the appearance of a large ape, who attempts to play piano. Text at top reads "Mickey's Uninvited Guest" and small "Walter E. Disney" name appears under piano bench. Image is from the 1931 animated short "The Castaway" and storyline was also featured in the "Mickey Mouse Movie Stories" book. Two tiny areas of missing glaze on rim edge, but these are barely noticeable and saucer is o/w Exc. Only the second example we've seen in our 49 years. All Paragon china is highly sought after.
