7/8x1.25" chrome luster metal case w/octagonal bezel variety. Dial design features image of Popeye from waist up at center w/usual numerals and his arms (w/exaggerated muscles) are the hands, Olive Oyl taking the place of 3 o'clock, Swee'Pea marking 6 o'clock and Wimpy marking 9 o'clock. No maker indicated and w/o copyright, but this is an actual production piece made c. 1948. Bezel shows some lt. wear and crystal has a couple pinpoint spots of aging but o/w watch is VF/Exc. Watch winds but is not working and would benefit from a cleaning. Scarce.
