Item Description
First is a .75" rare and very intriguing button which has W&H patent dates on the back and we estimate it is from 1896-1900. Above those dates in bold type on the paper is "No Suggestive Coercion." On the front of the button rim slogans read "True Liberty/No Secret Societies." To each side of the statue are the slogans "No Violent Oaths" and "No Organization Slavery." First we've seen and essentially mint. Issuer unknown to us. Next at 1.25" is gorgeous color button promoting "Liberty Flour" and featuring a tiny graphic of a blue ribbon award inscribed "The Best Ever" along with tiny text with a 1903 copyright. Slightest trace of age tone mixed in with the intense color but really barely noticeable. Great graphics and high gloss. Scarce. VF.
