Item Description
Pair of 16.75x36" fabric covers by Vogue Needlecraft Co. ©1931 WDP. First cover features great image of Mickey Mouse playing piano while Minnie Mouse dances. Second cover features Mickey and Minnie standing under large umbrella in the rain. Both have 1.5" wide strip between the front/back halves which was meant to be trimmed and discarded intact and each includes company text/copyright, marked No. 97 and No. 98 of "Mickey Mouse Series." As intended, the entire design of both has been neatly stitched in black thread outlining the entire image as well as image accents. Both sheets have lt. even aging but images remain clean and strong. Some lt. spots of staining to second cover but overall, covers are VF. Scarce designs in this series.
