Item Description
13-7/8x19.75" first printing poster for Aug. 12-13, 1966 concerts that took place at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA featuring Big Brother & The Holding Company as well as Bo Diddley. Poster design by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley features photo of collapsed building from the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. Lower margin has been signed by both artists in black felt tip pen, Mouse adding his distinctive mouse self portrait sketch. Poster has pin holes at corners w/thin strips of tape at corners and along top/bottom and left/right center margins as well. Poster is evenly aged and Fine overall.
