Item Description
94 of 96 cards, each 2.5x3.75". Issued in 1953 as a follow-up to the 1952 set of the same name. ACC# R701-15. Color photo fronts, bio text backs. Stars include: Groucho Marx, Audrey Meadows, Sid Ceasar, Imogene Coca, Bob Hope, Carl Reiner, Jim Backus, Stan Kenton, Eddie Fisher, Sammy Kaye, Dennis Day and many others. Missing #s 10 and 69. About a dozen cards have trace of gum stain to reverse, fronts remain bright and clean. Lt. trace of margin wear but most have fairly sharp corners. Overall a NM to NM/Mint set. Wrapper is 5¢ variety, 5x6" and nicely illustrated. Lt. creases as originally folded but clean and EX. The New England Non-Sports Card Collection.
