Item Description
Lot of three 12-7/8x16" frames contain matted Disney COAs and double-matted event mini-posters for "Star Wars Weekends" annual events that took place at the Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park of the Walt Disney World Resort. First is "Collectors Edition Photomint" display containing six Commemorative Coins that were selectively plated w/24K gold and nickel silver, each different and issued for 2000-2005. Coins feature both Disney and Star Wars characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, R2-D2, Yoda and Darth Vader. Limited edition, 48/250. Next two both feature five coins each, w/antiqued bronze, nickel silver, antiqued copper or silver overlay, 24K gold overlay and coin struck specially for this limited edition. 2005 limited edition is 85/250. 2007 limited edition is 82/250. All are Mint as framed. All were very limited and issued at $125 to $175 apiece. Great design and detail, making for impressive display pieces.
