Item Description
Issued in 1967 and ©MGM. ACC# R710-19.  Maya was a film in 1966 followed by a short-lived show in 1967-68, both starring Jay North of Dennis the Menace fame. Set in the Indian jungle, it was about an American boy searching for his missing father, a big game hunter. Set consists of 44 basic cards and 16 punch out puzzle piece cards, all 2.5x3.5". Both feature color photo fronts, basic card backs feature "Mysteries Of India." The puzzle cards are much scarcer than the others (see uncut sheet #2550). All is NM+ to Mint. Display box originally contained 24 packs. Edge wear but tight and VF. Single wax pack is NM. The New England Non-Sports Card Collection.
