Item Description
Whitman #1117, ©1936 KFS, Inc. Story and art by "Little Annie Rooney" writer (1931-1953) Brandon Walsh. Created not long after the Chicago Tribune Syndicate had scored a huge hit w/"Little Orphan Annie," this strip dealt w/a young orphaned girl who traveled around w/her dog, Zero. The strip launched Jan. 10, 1927. (See bisque, item #1241). Never fully opened. Some minor rubs to front cover w/tiny nick at top of spine at front.
