Item Description
First is 1" wide brass pin with black enamel spread-wing bat perched on white enamel letter "M" (for Motorcycle). Small enamel loss from bat's left wing tip and bottom left corner of "M". The Bat Motor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. was a British motorcycle maker from 1902-1926. They are known for early innovations in cycle suspension systems. This is a rare pin, even in Great Britain. The company took its name from founder Samuel Robert Batson. Fine. Second is 1" wide black enamel on brass lapel stud with motorcycle name "Lancer". Seems to be 1930s. Exc.
