Each is a 13/16" litho printed in water soluble ink that was very susceptible to holding dust as well as easily scratched and chipped. They were issued in a wrapper titled "Button Gum" along with other sets for movie stars, presidents, frontiersmen/Indians and a few others. This group of 13 includes the key "Lou Gehrig" button with just the slightest wear and VF.  The others are also VF or better. While not perfect, this is a very nice condition group of buttons usually seen with much more dust soil or paint wear.
