Item Description
Wonderfully ornate 13.5x18" die-cut embossed lithographed calendar features five of six die-cut paper lanterns strung on string overtop night time image of Venice, Italy. Calendar was produced by Kaufmann & Strauss Co. of New York and issued at the end of 1901. Calendar has some dark sparkle accents and features metallic gold lettering. Each lantern features names of two months and lifts to reveal corresponding calendars. Nov./Dec. cover lantern is missing and Jan./Feb. cover lantern has been reattached w/staple. Lower right has corner tip wear w/small piece off and margins show some scattered wear. Fine overall, but color remains strong.
