19x28" poster published in Germany shortly after World War I, during reconstruction. Poster features art (artist initials "F.I." at bottom right) of three biplane dropping "Deutsche Volkspartie" leaflets. Wings of planes also bear political party's name and poster text translates to "Citizens - Vote For The German People's Party." The German People's Party was a national liberal party in Weimar Germany and a successor to the National Liberal Party of the German Empire. Poster was originally folded into quarters and has now been linen-mounted. Poster has evenly tanned w/age and has had some color touch-ups along fold lines. Upper left corner has 1x1.75" triangular piece replaced, but this blends nicely. Corner creases at lower right. Fine overall.
