Item Description
6" tall heavy painted cast iron. Unknown maker. Late 19th or early 20th century. Door has the writing in high relief with brass combination dial. Fancy filigree decorations around coin slot which in this case is on top of the safe. Interesting feature of this bank is two decals picturing a baby and young girl on either side of the bank. These have some scratches and bits of the decal missing but both are at least 90% complete. Some paint loss to raised lettering on door, about 30% of the gold paint remains. Overall just a few scattered paint chips. Bank still displays glossy. VF.
