3.75x6.5". Gateway Stamp Co. Induction Day Station Cooperstown ink stamp 8/1/1982. Albert Benjamin Chandler was 44th and 49th Governor of Kentucky, US Senator from Kentucky, 36th Lt. Governor of Kentucky, Member of the Kentucky Senate from the 22nd District and the 2nd Commisioner of Baseball (1945-1951). His most significant action as commissioner was the approval of Jackie Robinson's contract with the Brooklyn Dodgers, effectively integrating Major League Baseball. HOF 1982. Bold black ink signature. NM. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA COA.
