4.75" dia. by nearly .5" thick with wire loop on back. Made of black thermoplastic material much like 19th century gutta-percha or late 1930s era Bakelite. Text surrounds slightly concave center and yet detailed portrait is in very high relief surrounded by leaf and berry designs. Tiny text at bottom of portrait reads "S. Guenardeau 1919." Trivial 1/16" flake off rim at 4 o'clock barely noticeable and rest is essentially Mint. Very striking. A quality made piece and only one we've seen.
