Item Description
1.5x1.75". B/W photo front and text back w/player information. These were issued in matchboxes. Over 100 cards in the set and numerous photo and back varieties exist.
Edward Charles Pellagrini was an American professional baseball infielder in Major League Baseball(MLB) from 1946-1949 & 1951-1954. He played fro the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Browns, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates. He hit a Home Run in his first major league at bat in Boston. He went on to become a longtime coach at Boston College. This card is designated by CSG as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection".
