Martin Whiteford "Mr. Shortstop" Marion was an American Major League Baseball shortstop and manager. Marion played for the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Browns between 1940 and 1953. Some career highlights include being an eight time All-Star, three time World Series Champion ('42, '44 & '46), NL MVP in 1944 and is a member of the St. Louis Cardinals Hall Of Fame.
