Item Description
1.25" w/Brown & Bigelow St. Paul on curl. "Theo. Wm & Coe. Progressive Trio" above trigate portraits w/slogan "Not Stalled Warts Or 'I'" below. A remarkable slogan taking aim at establishment GOP members of the era. Crawford was Gov. of South Dakota while running a victorious campaign for one of the state's Senate seats in 1908. Faint scattered staining throughout, otherwise light surface wear. Sound construction. Glossy w/ strong contrast. VG. Larry Brokofsky Collection.
