Item Description
2.25" w/ horizontal bar pin on reverse. Dated July 20, 1979. Text at top reads "Defeat Mottl Bill" w/ additional text below reading "With God We Can Do It". The Mottl Bill was a proposed Constitutional Amendment that attempted to "prohibit compelling a student, on account of race, color, or national origin, to attend a public school other than the one nearest his residence which is located within the school district in which the student resides and which provides the course of study pursued by such student." This measure failed to pass in the House. Tiny air mark at 9 o'clock w/ a few light scattered scratches only seen in reflected light. High gloss. Extremely Fine.
