Item Description
2-3/8x2-7/8". The issue consisted of 239 cards, with a 240th entry - the remarkably scarce Napoleon Lajoie #106 - produced in 1934 in response to consumer outcry and mailed to fans only upon request.
Charlie Gehringer played his entire career from 1924-1942 with the Detroit Tigers. He was a 6x All-Star, an AL MVP in 1937 and a World Series Champion in 1935. Gehringer was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1949.
