Item Description
1-7/16x2.5". The 1919 W514 set is comprised of 120 cards. The front of the cards portray a comparatively crude drawing of the athletes portrayed with a color background and a thin black line containing the pose. The player's name, team, position and the card number all are identified at the bottom of the frame. Card backs are blank.

Charles "Chick" Gandil was a professional baseball player. He played for the Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians, and Chicago White Sox of the American League. He is best known as the ringleader of the players involved in the 1919 Black Sox scandal. He was a World Series Champion in 1917.
