Item Description
The 1964 Topps Baseball set consists of 587 cards.
Robert Gibson was an American professional baseball pitcher who played 17 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals (1959-1975). Gibson tallied 251 wins, 3,117 strikeouts, and a 2.91 earned run average (ERA) during his career. A nine-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion, he won two Cy Young Awards and the 1968 National League (NL) MVP Award. Bob Gibson was elected into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1981. The autograph on the card is very strong and excellently placed near the bottom of the card without impeding the main image. PSA pop report indicates that this is the only example graded at this level w/nine graded higher.
