Item Description
1.25". Similar to Hake #123, but this example reads " Progressive" above portrait and "1916 & Victory" below. Roosevelt famously ran in 1912 as a Progressive and was drafted to run again in 1916 on the same ticket. He ultimately declined the nomination after the Republican Party nominated Charles Evans Hughes, whom he quickly endorsed. Vibrant coloration w/ only minor wear. NM. A high grade example of this seldom offered 1916 hopeful.
