Item Description
10.75x13.75" sheet music w/six pages (counting covers) containing "Husky Hans," described as "A Stirring March And Two-Step." Published by Carnegie Union, ©1904 Wm. J. Hartz. One of the most desirable of all baseball-related sheet music folios, cover features a 4x7.5" full body photo image of Honus Wagner in full Pittsburgh Pirates uniform, holding baseball bat. Facsimile inscription and "Hans Wagner" signature below photo. Cover also features ballgame illustration as well as image of bats, balls and catcher's masks. Cover also notes Wagner as "3 Times Champion Batsman Of The National League," a fact that was true in 1904, but by 1911 Wagner would add another five batting titles to his trophy case. Wagner was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1936. Some scattered aging (w/age shadow on back) but o/w shows very little wear and is VF overall.
