Item Description
5.25" to 6" long. Left ribbon features John Purroy Mitchel "The Boy Mayor Of New York". He was only 34 when elected, the second youngest in city history. Mitchel was elected in 1913 as a Republican. All feature the Bull Moose symbol of the National Progressive Party. First ribbon has only light wear and is Exc. Second ribbon has even age toning and some faint staining on "Captain" designation on hanger. VF. Third has faint age spots and moderate handling and is VF. Fourth "Executive Committee" has horizontal thinness on "Progressive" that is stabilized by tape on reverse. Technically Fine, but displays above grade. A nice grouping of NY ribbons relating to TR's Progressive Party. Wayne Otchis Collection.
