Item Description
All between 3.75" and 5". Includes following designations: Delegate, Assistant Sergeant At Arms, Usher, Doorkeeper, Press, Guest, Alternate, Press Messenger, Telephone Messenger, and Telegraph Operator. Metal components have light to moderate wear. Ribbons all have some even aging and light to moderate wear. Most notably the "Doorkeeper" ribbon and the "Press" ribbon have some separations and are VG. The rest range from VF to Exc., w/most being extremely Fine or better. An instant collection from the contentious 1912 RNC between Taft and Roosevelt, which led to the latter's defeat and subsequent decision to form his own "Progressive" Party in opposition to Taft's GOP.
