Issued during the 1952-53 Winter League season, these were made to be mounted in an album. Printed on thin paper, each card measures 2-1/8x3-1/8". Fronts feature colorized photos while backs are printed in Spanish and include player name, card number, personal data and career summary. Dandridge is widely regarded as the greatest third baseman in Negro League history while spending nearly every winter playing ball in various Latin American countries. Elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1987. Top margin trim but presents very nicely as is, especially the photo front.
