For the second consecutive season, a Cuban League baseball card set was produced to promote Caramelo Deportivo. This second series expanded the number of cards included to 185 w/each measuring 1-7/8x2.5". Card fronts feature a bw photo. Card backs identify the player and supply their Cuban League affiliation. In addition, a candy ad appears on back bottom. Thin paper stock as well as the issuance of an album for these to be mounted in account for the prominently lesser conditions whenever these rarities are found. Minoso was one of the few ballplayers that was a major star in both the Negro Leagues (New York Cubans) as well as the Major Leagues (Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians).
