Item Description
1-1/8". White metal. Relief profile portrait of Grant on obverse, w/ text on reverse reading "In Honor of the 15th Amendment/ Proclamation Issued March 30, 1870." The 15th Amendment granted African Americans the right the vote and prohibited the denial of the franchise on account of "race, color, or previous condition of servitude." Light surface wear and handling. Extremely Fine.
