Item Description
Base Set is the name given to the first main expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The English expansion was released on January 9, 1999. The Base Set has 102 cards and this is #8 of 102. A first edition version of this card was included in the 2-Player Starter Set. The First Edition Base Set version of this card with the Cosmos Holofoil was included in the 2-Player CD-ROM Starter Set released alongside Base Set 2, which was only released outside of Japan. Artwork by Ken Sugimori. First Edition Holo. CGC graded 5.5 EX+.
