1.25" w/ W&H back paper. Brass coiled rim. Sepia portrait of the famous publisher and politician. Hearst ran for the Democratic nomination in 1904 and placed second in the balloting, ultimately losing to Alton Parker. He also unsuccessfully ran for Mayor of New York City and Governor of New York during the early 1900s. Light scattered wear in reflected light. Still Exc. John Pendergrass Collection.
