Item Description
1.75". Produced for 1932, where he was for the third presidential campaign a contender for the Democratic nomination. He received 201 votes on the first ballot at the Democratic Nation Convention, but was easily defeated by Roosevelt, who ultimately won the nomination on the fourth ballot. Edge staining, most notably at 6 and 12 o'clock. Otherwise moderate wear in reflected light. Fine. Scarce. John Pendergrass Collection.
