Item Description
Envelope is 4x9.5". Letterhead is 8.5x11". Address for Carter's campaign headquarters on both items: Dinkler Motor Hotel, Atlanta, Room 562. Each item has only minor wear. Both NM. From Carter's unsuccessful 1966 bid for the Georgia governorship. He went on to win in the 1970 campaign, propelling him onto the national stage and putting him on the path to the presidency.
