3.5x5.5" vintage silver gelatin real photo postcard depicting 14 teammates in full uniform along w/two gentlemen dressed in formal attire posed on the steps in front of a building. Hand written identification on top of postcard indicates "Notre Dame" while bottom states "Varsity Team" to indicate this is the Notre Dame Varsity Base Ball Club. Final scores from prior seasonal games are handwritten on back and the postcard has been postally used w/a cancellation date of May 5, 1906. Postcard exhibits scattered creasing, primarily seen at the corners along w/scattered wear and toning on back. Good. Richard Merkin Collection.
