3.25x5.5" vintage silver gelatin postcard depicting 11 team members in full uniform along w/three gentlemen dressed in formal attire posed on a field. The team name "Merom" is prominently displayed across all player jerseys. We have been unable to determine where this ball club was located but what makes this image very special is the inclusion of an African American ballplayer pictured in the middle row at left amongst all other white players. It is very unusual to find team photos of integrated baseball teams prior to Jackie Robinson's integration of the Major Leagues in 1947.
