Second printing from 1987 of this famed design. 15.5x23.75" stiff paper stock for May 10, 1968 concert at Fillmore East in New York, NY featuring the Jimi Hendrix Experience and although not credited, opening act Sly & The Family Stone. Exceptional art by David Byrd. This image is considered among the classics of psychedelia w/an eye popping portrait of Hendrix at center, flanked by portraits of Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell. Moderate handling wear w/corner bends and .25' tear to top right and handwritten letters scribbled over on verso right border. Trivial edge wear w/horizontal crease at bottom center to right corner but still beautifully vibrant and displays VF overall. The spectacular psychedelic design caught the eye of Hendrix who asked artist Byrd to produce a tour blank to be used for his concerts in 1969.
