7x21" thin art board contains four panel daily strip. "South Sea Girl" title and" by Thorne Stevenson" byline are paste-ups. Art by Matt Baker (1921-1959) who was an American comic book artist and illustrator, best known for drawing early comics heroines such as the costumed crimefighter Phantom Lady, and romance comics. © Phoenix Features Inc. Alani The South Sea Girl appears in all panels. Strip is undated, however the back has "1953" and "Matt Baker" written on in blue pencil. Last panel has "6" at lower right corner. Lt. aging/handling wear. Exc.
