Item Description
2.5x3". Silk. Produced in 1861 in the early months following Virginia's secession. "Sic Semper Tyrannis" (Down With Tyrants" just below liberty cap. Waving flags on either side w/shield below. Additional text at bottom reads "Will Shed Their Blood For Southern Right." Faint stain in upper right corner, otherwise faint scattered aging. Fine. Rare. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
